Online Platforms for Remote Research

The COVID pandemic has limited our researchers’ ability to conduct in-person research studies and so our department is working hard to make sure students are not missing key opportunities to participate in psychological science firsthand.

The Department of Psychology at Cleveland State University believes that the study of psychology is brought alive by having students participate in research studies. We believe our students benefit from connecting what they learn in the classroom with research studies outside the classroom. And we believe that having tangible research experience can be of paramount importance when students apply for graduate school admission and/or employment.

Given the importance of conducting research studies, the Department of Psychology has purchased online platforms that will allow our researchers to continue their studies remotely and allow our students to participate in these studies remotely as well.

However, these new platforms are costly. To help with these expenses, we’ve launched this crowdfunding campaign with the hopes that with your generous support we will be able to continue providing our researchers and students with the research tools necessary to continue moving forward with psychological science here at Cleveland State University.
