Since 1976, WCSB 89.3fm, has worked tirelessly to fulfill its mission of providing alternative radio programming to the Cleveland community. We are the student-run, community driven, not-for-profit, non-commercial radio station of Cleveland State University. After reopening our studio, our focus has been on recruiting and training new student members, and adapting our organizational structure to better serve our staff, our volunteers, and our listeners. Since we were locked out of the station from March 2020 to June 2021, our focus was to remain broadcasting through remote, automated programming, and we did not hold a radiothon drive for pledges last year. This year, we are asking our listeners to double down on their donation – though we appreciate any and all contributions!
PLEASE NOTE that $66,166 in our Scalefunder total reflects our General Fee Award from Cleveland State University. Everything else up to and beyond $100,000 comes from our listeners, members, and business supporters!
When our Radiothon Scalefunder Campaign is closed (Giving Tuesday 11/30/21 at midnight) you can still make 2021 tax deductible donations at www.wcsb.org/donate until December 31st. We look forward to announcing our final revenue totals in January of 2022.
